FarmXS is a farm waste plastic and cardboard recycling collection service.  It has been collecting and baling waste plastic from England’s farms, equestrian units and horticultural businesses since 2006.    <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

FarmXS considers themselves as the professionals in agricultural recycling.\u00a0 Over the last 5 years 98% of the farm plastics we have collected has gone on to be recycled.\u00a0 Today we collect the plastic and cardboard waste produced from over 2,500 farms.\u00a0 The plastic is either picked up or taken by our customers to one of our 34 collection centres, all of which are based on a farm close to you.\u00a0 Here we bale the plastic through our high density compacting baler which is mounted on the back of the FarmXS lorry.\u00a0 Because we insist that the plastic is sorted by you before collection a high percentage is recyclable.<\/p>

Following the introduction of the Waste Management Regulations in 2006 banning the burning or burying of farm waste and farm plastic, FarmXS\u00a0<\/strong>Ltd was set up to provide farmers and landowners with a sustainable recycling service for all types of farm plastic and cardboard.<\/p>

All farmers now have a legal duty under the Waste Transfer Regulation to send their plastic waste off the farm either for recycling or to a landfill site, which is policed by the Environment Agency.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0If a farmer chooses to throw his farm waste\u00a0into a skip there is a legal duty to sort the waste rather than sending it to a landfill site.\u00a0\u00a0Farm XS\u00a0<\/strong>Ltd provide an ethical and sustainable\u00a0farm waste and farm plastic collection service.\u00a0 Our scheme is run on a membership basis with an annual subscription depending on your farm acreage.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
